Prince Philip Scholarship

This scholarship is available to undergraduate applicants from Hong Kong in any subject.  It is tenable at any College.

Successful applicants who complete a BA at the University of Cambridge may apply for a further scholarship to continue on to a one-year taught postgraduate degree.

Offered in partnership with the Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong.

Value

  • University tuition fee, subject to means-testing
  • College Fee, subject to means-testing
  • Annual stipend, subject to means-testing
  • £4,500 per annum cash award
  • Return economy airfare

The Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong

The Friends of Cambridge University in Hong Kong Limited is a charitable organization registered in Hong Kong whose principal activities are to provide for the advancement and promotion of learning and education at the University of Cambridge. The primary activity of The Friends is to manage the Prince Philip Scholarship, established in 1981.

The Prince Philip Scholarship provides financial support to talented Hong Kong students to study at the University of Cambridge, many of whom would otherwise not have the opportunity or financial means to do so.
