NIH Cambridge Trust Scholarship
This 4-year doctoral programme for US students is based on collaboration between two research labs – one in Cambridge and one in the NIH; each student is supervised jointly by a supervisor at each institution and spends, on average, half of their time at NIH in the US and half in Cambridge. This scholarship is tenable at any College.
Offered in partnership with the NIH Ox/Cam Programme, based in the University's School of Clinical Medicine.

NIH Ox/Cam Programme
The NIH Ox/Cam Programme, based in the University's School of Clinical Medicine, is a partnership between the USA's National Institutes of Health and the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
It supports research medical students who are undertaking simultaneously a PhD in the UK and an MD in the USA . This unique programme has fostered strong research collaborations between the NIH and Cambridge.
The NIH Ox/Cam Programme in Cambridge is working with the Cambridge Trust to offer the NIH Cambridge Trust Scholarship, to fund PhD candidates in Biomedical Research whose studies will be divided between Cambridge and the NIH in the USA.
