What we do
The Cambridge Commonwealth European and International Trust is a charity established with the sole purpose of providing support to students to enable them to benefit from the educational and research opportunities offered at the University of Cambridge.
The Trust provides the largest number of scholarships for international students at Cambridge, working with partners worldwide to support students of outstanding academic merit under a variety of scholarships.
The Cambridge Trust awards approximately 600 scholarships annually, supporting around 1,500 students in residence each year, and has helped more than 22,000 students from 149 countries across the world take up their places in Cambridge during its forty-year history.
Awards, which include both full-cost and part-cost scholarships, are offered to selected students at PhD, Masters and undergraduate level, in all subjects and at all 31 Colleges of the University of Cambridge.
The student support offered by the Trust recognises and rewards excellence, and provides the necessary financial assistance required by those who are disadvantaged.
